Kamin HQ is the transformation of a former bank card factory in Sharjah’s industrial district into the new headquarters of one of UAE’s top emerging abaya brands. Designed as a full renovation, the project reimagines an existing warehouse shell into a refined workplace that merges brand identity, functionality, and atmosphere. Created for a young Emirati label with a strong market presence, the space reflects Kamin’s elegance through a language of restraint, precision, and material honesty. The design focuses on expression through raw surfaces and their natural beauty, elevated through carefully considered detailing and proportion.
Visitors arrive through a landscaped curved entrance that softens the industrial surroundings and creates a sense of arrival. A monumental metal pivot door opens into the warehouse, revealing the VIP showroom reception; a space conceived as an immersive stage for Kamin’s collections. Fully wrapped in a rich brown stone carpet across floor, walls, and ceiling, the room offers a tactile and monolithic backdrop, framed by a panoramic full-height window overlooking the landscaped exterior.

Beyond the showroom, a linear corridor leads into the main open workspace where the operational heart of the headquarters unfolds. Staff offices and a lounge area are arranged within the warehouse space. At the center of the plan sits a circular meeting room enclosed by a suspended round curtain. This sculptural intervention preserves the visual continuity of the open layout while offering privacy and flexibility when needed. Soft, fluid, and functional, it becomes both architectural feature and workspace solution.

The offices were designed to nurture creativity; providing Kamin’s design team with an inspiring environment to develop new collections, ideas, and future growth. Kamin HQ is a statement in adaptive reuse: transforming an industrial shell into a warm, contemporary headquarters rooted in identity, craftsmanship, and purpose.
